There are other Chinese spark plugs available for bicycle engines. We simply have to test the options they provide to verify how they perform. We have repeatedly requested information from our Chinese suppliers but they are unable to provide any useful data. One does not seem any hotter or display any differentiating properties to the other. They look identical and behave identically. For example, we have found no difference between the Z4C and the Z8C. Our main concern with OEM plugs is the lack of data about them. We have never found fault with these manufactures plugs. This is not to say that the standard manufacturers Z4C or Z8C are bad.

But I was wondering if there is a guide as when a crush washer needs to be used or are they very much interchangeable in their use? As I understand it both crush washers (split washers) and flat washers are used to seal a metal to metal surface.
